Sitting on the side of a hill overlooking Woodstock, Vermont, this idyllic mountain setting is situated alongside a 250 foot diameter man made pond we designed. The home designed by Bud Wilson Architects was constructed as an integral organic structure, the home features an array of natural materials, from the reclaimed hardwood and natural slate floors and the polished marble counter tops to the natural stone fireplace. The soft lighting accented by reflecting spotlights strategically placed above the ceiling beams bathe the interior in an array of exquisitely stained and hand finished wood paneling, floors and sealed log posts and beams. The intricate roof lines, with the combination of cedar shake and standing seam metal roofing, along with mammoth white pine logs makes this much more than your typical log home
